2012 marks Wellspring’s 20th anniversary of providing the best in supportive cancer care to the community.
We are reaching out to our members and supporters to ask that you consider pledging $20 a month in honour of Wellspring’s 20th anniversary. If $20 a month is not possible, we hope you will consider a gift of $5, 10 or even $15 per month. Your gift will provide important support to sustaining our programs for men, women and children living with cancer.
You can choose to direct your donation to any Wellspring centre or alternatively, support program development through the Centre of Innovation. By becoming a monthly donor, you can ensure that Wellspring can continue to offer vital cancer support programs by helping to create a sustainable base of support.
In just one year, your monthly support of $20 can provide:
- Two support group sessions for up to 20 individuals
- Personalized assessments for five individuals in the Cancer Exercise program
- The development and delivery of one Discussion Series presentation for up to 30 individuals
Becoming a monthly donor is simple! Payments can be made with a credit card or debited directly from your bank account. You will receive one tax receipt in February for all of your monthly donations from the previous year. You can even specify that the funds be directed to a particular program or centre that is close to your heart.
Wellspring receives no ongoing government or other core funding, and charges no fees for its programs. It exists thanks to the generosity of donors.
